Gentle Job Search

How this board works now: the main board below is freelance & contract only — each listing was opened, read end-to-end, and checked on October 21, 2026, on the company’s own page. W-2 employee jobs live on Shanice’s own shelf further down, and she vets every one personally before it appears.

The Gentle Job Hunt

a job board for anxious minds

Work that fits the brain you woke up with. Most job boards sort by salary and title. This one sorts by how much of you a job takes — phones, people, cameras, schedules — read straight from the posting and labeled honestly. If a posting doesn’t say, the tag says “Not mentioned.” We don’t guess with your peace. Two kinds of work live here: freelance & contract listings, checked on the date stamped on every card — and W-2 picks Shanice vets herself before they ever appear, on their own shelf below.

⭐ Today’s featured job

— one job gets the spotlight each day. It rotates through every live listing on the board and changes at midnight, so come back tomorrow for a different one.

How much do you have in you right now?

Start here. There’s no wrong answer, and it can change day to day — that’s the whole point.

The stuff other boards don’t ask

Every filter below comes from what the posting itself says. Anything it leaves out stays “Not mentioned” on the card.

W-2 picks — vetted by the Momster herself

Regular employee jobs live here, and only here — because Shanice vets this shelf personally. Freelance and contract listings (above) get checked on a stamped date; a W-2 job doesn’t get posted at all until she has opened it, read it end-to-end, and decided it belongs.

This shelf is empty on purpose — for now

Every W-2 listing that ever appears here gets opened, read end-to-end, and checked by Shanice personally before it’s posted. No aggregator mirrors, no expired postings dressed up as live ones, no “trust me.” The first picks are being vetted right now. When a job earns its place, you’ll find it here — with the same honest tags as everything else on this board.

One honest thing before you trust any listing here

The listings on this board are gathered from multiple job boards, then read and tagged by a person. Companies can — and do — change a job at their own discretion: the duties, the pay, the schedule, and how much phone or people contact it really involves can all shift, sometimes without the posting ever being updated.

The tags on every card reflect the posting’s own words at the time it was read. “Not mentioned” means the posting didn’t say — it does not mean the answer is no. Always confirm the details that matter to you on the employer’s own posting, and ask again in the interview, before you apply.

How the two shelves work: the freelance & contract listings on this board were checked on October 21, 2026, read straight from each company’s own page or platform — never from an aggregator mirror. W-2 employee jobs are held to a different standard: Shanice vets each one personally before it appears on her W-2 shelf. Either way, a posting can still change or close at the company’s discretion after it’s been checked — the stamp tells you when it was last verified, not a promise it will stay open.

How the tags work: each one is read from the posting’s own words. “Not mentioned” means the posting truly doesn’t say — which is information too. A job can be wonderful and still be wrong for your nervous system. Both things can be true.

The Gentle Job Hunt — from Anxiety Momster. Every freelance & contract listing was checked on October 21, 2026 and links directly to the company’s own page; postings still close and change, so if a link ever lands nowhere, that opening has likely been filled or pulled. W-2 picks are vetted personally by Shanice before they appear.
